Outside of modding my car, which this whole site is dedicated to, I currently have 3 main hobbies: autocrossing,
photography and video games. Ha, one thing for sure, no matter what you hobby you pursue, if you're serious about it,
it can get REALLY expensive! Ah, but I guess that is the price for passion and dedication.
Autocrossing:
Details about my Autocross experience can be found in the AutoX/Track section.
Photography:
I've always had an "eye" for things. That "artistic eye" that is. That's why I think it was easy for me to get into
photography. This came as a consequence of doing alot of autocrossing and the advent of digital photography. I started
by just snapping a few shots for memory's sake, but soon found myself taking more and more. Before you know it, I'm taking
1,000+ at each event. People started to notice, and I got more serious about it. I picked up a Nikon D70 SLR and some
nice lenses to go with it. I actually tried to make a small business out of it, but in the end, it was too much work for the
effort. Oh well, it was worth a shot, and I still have my gear. So, its still just a hobby for me. Check out my handiwork in my
Photo Gallery.
Video Games:
I could probably write a whole book on my personal experience with video games. Unfortunately, I don't have time for that right
now, but suffice to say that for a long time this was truly my passion. From the early days of Space Invaders and Asteroids, to
the reign of Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat, to the worlds of Warcraft, Diablo and StarCraft, I've seen it all. I would
play hours on end, both at the arcade and at home. Up until recently, I would always be on top of the latest in gaming,
both in the the news, the consoles and the games. Due to some higher priorities, such as my job, I don't play as much as I'd like
to these days, but I still play. I recently picked up a Playstation3 and am enjoying games like Metal Gear Solid 4 and Heavenly
Sword. I also picked up some used copies of "God of War I/II" and "Resident Evil 4" for PS2 (both great games BTW). While I
can't spend as much time as I'd like to, I'll probably play games until I die! And one thing for sure, every now and then, I'll
start up MAME, and fire up a quick game of...Shinobi!
